The Brief

Crux is a creative design agency in Hampshire and also one of our very friendly neighbours that specialises in growing brand awareness, increasing revenue and improving customer experiences.

We were approached by Crux to create a series of content using their archive of past design work for brochures, business cards and other collateral. These were to be used on social media, case studies on their new website and in sales proposals for future work.

The brief was to create clean and minimal imagery of the collateral to reflect the artistry that went into the work. Precise lines, clean gradients and plenty of detail were of absolute importance.

The Solution

To create these images, we used a very simple but effective lighting setup on a grey backdrop to provide enough neutrality and background gradation to make the collateral pop. It’s these subtle shadows and gradients that makes all the difference, so we used a large diffused light to ensure we had complete control of the scene.

The final result speaks for itself, showing off the designs at their best and proving to be fantastic pieces of content to be used for marketing and sales. We made sure to provide plenty of variation in terms fo composition to allow for plenty of end formats, such as website banners and Instagram.
